Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

I have a small, polished, river stone at home with these words painted on it, “To Love a person is to learn the Song that is in their Heart and to Sing it to them when they have forgotten.” I believe this is the essence of my practice as psychotherapist.

Most people are experiencing some level of distress in at least one area of their lives when they reach out for therapy. It is a very courageous thing to do and a sign of strength to recognize your need for help and to take such a bold step, especially when you are struggling and feeling so vulnerable.

You do not need to suffer alone. You deserve to be received with non-judgmental and unconditional acceptance for who you are and whatever your circumstances are in this very moment of your life. I am here to receive you, to listen to you, and to see you, not only with my mind, but with my heart.

Making the decision to enter psychotherapy is a choice for healing and personal growth. Together, we can look at the tender, difficult areas of your life and begin to understand, heal, and transform them. I will help you get in touch with your own innate strengths and wisdom.

I know that you are a unique and fundamentally beautiful person who is experiencing difficult times. I have profound respect for your story, no matter what it is. We all have places of darkness, hurt, and shame.

I will support you to create deep personal fulfillment and meaning in your life. I bring a genuine appreciation and respect for each person’s unique process of healing, unfolding, and growth, honoring that process as we work together.
